Christine became interested with photography after a trip that she took years ago. It was during her first solo trip that doubled as a summer school in South of France that she realized photography could become so much more to her. First and foremost, photography was a form of documentation but it was also how she relived that summer again - by scrolling through hundreds if not thousands of photographs of food and buildings that she took. It was a visual diary almost when her brain failed to recall how it felt to be walking on the uneven cobbled stone, to be drenched in sweats because of how hot it was and to be able to almost recall how certain food taste like.

One thing led to another and she decided to pursue her hobby. Since her background was in journalism, she went with documentary at first but as the memories of that one eventful summer came back, she continued with her culinary journey, marveling at the colors and shapes of food and produce that she did not notice before. Her appreciation for food led her to still life photography that revolves around food a lot of times.
